About CLAQON: software for producing informational video rigorously, on your own machine.
CLAQON is self-hosted software that researches, verifies, writes, narrates, edits and publishes informational videos for your channels, and learns from them. It exists because we believe that automating production should not mean giving up sources, control over spending or your data.
What it is
A control room for your video channels
CLAQON is installed on your machine or on a server in your name and is run from a web panel in Spanish, English or Portuguese. Each channel is an account with its own profile, connections, budget and schedule, and each piece goes through the same 18-stage workflow: from the idea to research, verification, script, voice, editing, publishing and learning.
In addition to that Shorts factory, the same installation brings together an Editing Studio, a Subtitle Room, direct publishing of your own videos and other lines that are in beta today. Everything leaves a trail: what was done, why and how much it cost.
Why it exists
Three problems we wanted to solve
Rigour you can check
Platforms penalise repetitive or mass-produced content, and AI tends to fill gaps with whatever sounds plausible. CLAQON researches before writing, and a deterministic check rejects figures that are not in the evidence.
Spending that does not get out of hand
Among the most frequent complaints in reviews of these tools are credits wasted on failures and unexpected charges. CLAQON does not use credits: you pay each provider with your own keys, with caps per video, per day and per month.
Sovereignty over your data
Your videos, your keys and your channels’ accounts do not have to live in someone else’s cloud. CLAQON runs on your infrastructure and stores secrets encrypted.
Principles
Four principles that guide every decision
Process before promises
We do not promise views, income or virality: nobody can honestly do that. We promise that every piece goes through the same checks and that you can see what CLAQON has done and what it has cost.
Honest statuses
What is in beta is marked as beta, and what ships switched off is stated. We also say what it does not do: it does not publish to TikTok, it has a single user per installation and it renders on the CPU.
Nothing paid without your permission
Anything that costs extra money, such as paid voice, image or video, ships switched off and is only enabled when you decide to and give it a budget, always within your caps. A paid request with an uncertain outcome is never repeated on its own: it is reconciled.
Your data, at home
Your videos, your keys and your accounts stay in your installation. CLAQON talks directly to your providers and to the platforms, with no cloud of ours in between.
How we work
Built with tests and reported in public
- Features arrive with their automated tests. As of 12 October 2026, the repository has 386 automated test files and 69 interface walkthroughs that run in a browser.
- Tests do not tell the whole story: whatever has not yet been verified with real material in production, we mark as beta.
- Production workflows are generated with reproducible tools and are never edited by hand.
- Every provider price is stored with its source and date, and it expires: if it is not renewed, nothing paid is quoted.
- We use CLAQON on our own channels: that is where we test it every day, and where we find and fix its bugs.
- We report what changes in the changelog and in a monthly log by email, with no promises.
Origin
Born in Spain
CLAQON is designed and developed in Spain. It is written first in Spanish, and its interface is also available in English and Portuguese, without sending your texts to translation services.
It is designed for Spanish-speaking operators of informational channels, starting with Spain and Mexico, and it produces for 12 markets, each with its own time zone, language, form of address and slots. We offer it to professionals and businesses, through an annual licence per installation.
What we do not do
What you will not find in CLAQON
- We do not promise views, income or subscribers, and we do not sell “passive income”.
- We do not offer a cloud-hosted service for many users: CLAQON is installed on your machine or on your server.
- We do not make remixes of other people’s viral videos, stories copied from forums or fake conversations.
- We do not invent a “viral score”: we score topics with criteria we explain.
- We do not resell credits or add a margin on top of your providers.
- We do not publish testimonials or success stories that we do not have yet. When there are some, they will come with their method and their date.
