# Tech and AI videos that explain without inventing features.

For tech and AI channels that explain tools, versions and concepts. CLAQON writes from sources that can be cited, such as official documentation, produces in Spanish or English and publishes to your platforms with a spend cap.

The challenge

## Technology changes faster than your script

On a tech channel, what was true last month may not be true today: versions, plans and features change. A video that credits a tool with something it does not do, or that fakes a demo with generic images, gets noticed straight away in the comments.

Many of these channels also publish in two languages and want to choose the AI model that does the writing. And when every piece costs credits, trying out a new format gets expensive.

How CLAQON solves it

## Official sources, formats with criteria and two languages

- **Documentation as a source**
In a production launched from the panel, you paste the URL of the announcement or of the official documentation and the script relies on it, with its verbatim excerpts. The instructions for these niches ask the script to verify features and versions and not to attribute capabilities that do not exist.
  [Source verification](https://claqon.com/en/features/source-verification/)
- **Formats with criteria**
The “Criteria-based comparison” type asks for at least two alternatives to be weighed against the same criteria and for an explanation of who each one suits, without inventing hands-on tests, prices or a universal winner. There are also “Practical explanation”, “Annotated list” and “Step-by-step guide”.

- **Spanish or English, per account**
Each account has its own language and market, and the narration is in that language. There are local voices with no per-video cost, including in English, and ElevenLabs if you enable it. On YouTube, after publishing, CLAQON uploads the original caption track and 6 translations.
  [Voice and visuals](https://claqon.com/en/features/voice-and-visuals/)
- **The model you choose**
Ten preconfigured providers, including a local one, or any compatible endpoint. With a main model, alternatives and 2 to 5 attempts, and a real one-click test to find out whether it responds.

A typical workflow

## From an official announcement to an explainer short

An example of the process with a tech account. The stages are the real ones; you choose the sources and the providers.

1. **You choose the topic and the sources**
For example, what changes in a tool after its latest release. You paste the announcement and the official documentation as your own sources.
2. **You choose the format**
A practical explanation for a concept, or a criteria-based comparison for a decision between alternatives.
3. **Script and HARD QC**
The AI model writes; the check rejects unsupported figures and absolutes such as “the fastest” that the source does not back up.
4. **Voice and editing**
Narration in the account’s language with word-level timing, technology and office stock clips, on-screen text and captions that follow the voice.
5. **Publishing and follow-up**
It goes out on the account’s platforms. On YouTube, caption translations that do not fit in the day’s quota are postponed to the next day.

What you control

## Set up each channel the way you work

- Niche: “AI and automation”, “Technology and software” or a custom one.
- Video type, format and length of each piece.
- Language and market of each account, from 12 markets.
- Local voice, paid voice or your own recorded narration.
- Main AI model, alternatives and fallback model.
- Your own URLs as sources in productions launched from the panel.
- Spend caps per video, per day and per month.
- Notifications on Slack and, if you enable them, on Telegram or through signed webhooks.

Limits

## What it does not do for a tech channel

- It does not record or generate screen demos: the step-by-step guide is illustrated with stock clips. If you want to show the real interface, bring your own recordings and edit them in the Studio (beta).
- Stock clips are generic: offices, devices, people working.
- Some local English voices have licences that do not allow commercial use. Check the voice’s licence before publishing.
- A published video does not update itself: if the tool changes, you will need to produce another piece.
- It has no public API or MCP server: it integrates through signed outbound webhooks, which are off by default.

Frequently asked questions

## Common questions from tech channels

### Can it show a tool’s real interface?

It does not generate it. Step-by-step guides are narrated with text and stock clips, and the instructions forbid claiming that a demo is being shown. If you have your own screen recordings, you can edit them in the [Editing Studio](https://claqon.com/en/features/editing-studio/), which is in beta.

### Can I have one channel in Spanish and another in English?

Yes. Each account has its own language, market and slots, and CLAQON warns you if the script is not in the account’s language. On YouTube it can also upload captions translated into 6 languages.

### Which AI model writes the scripts?

The one you choose: there are 10 preconfigured providers, including a local model with Ollama or LM Studio, and an option for any compatible endpoint. You pay that provider with your own key. [See the AI models](https://claqon.com/en/features/ai-models/).

### Does it have an API to integrate it with my tools?

There is no public API. CLAQON can notify your systems with signed outbound webhooks when a piece is ready, is published or fails. They are off by default and only send to public https addresses.

### How does it avoid claiming features that a tool does not have?

The script can only cite verbatim excerpts from the sources, and HARD QC rejects unsupported figures and absolutes. The better the sources, the better it works: that is why it is worth providing the official documentation. Even so, review what you publish.
