# Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website. This statement explains our goal, what we have already applied, what still falls short and how to tell us about a problem.

In force since 13 October 2026

This accessibility statement covers the public CLAQON website. It does not cover the software’s panel, which is installed on each customer’s machine. We publish it voluntarily.

## Our goal

Our goal is for the website to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2.

- **Current status.** We have not yet completed a formal evaluation against those guidelines, so we do not claim that the website meets them. We do not hold any accessibility certification.
- **How we check it today.** Every time the website is built, an automated validator rejects images without alternative text, pages with more than one main heading and duplicate identifiers, among other errors.

- **Why it is voluntary.** Law 11/2023 of 8 May requires certain services provided to consumers, such as e-commerce, to be made accessible, but it exempts microenterprises that provide services: fewer than 10 people and up to 2 million euros in turnover or balance sheet total. This website does not sell to consumers and its owner is a microenterprise, so the law does not oblige us to make it accessible. Even so, we want everyone to be able to use it.

## Measures applied

- **Measured contrast.** The text colours are based on those of the CLAQON panel, measured for a minimum contrast of 4.5:1 in the dark and light themes.
- **Keyboard.** All functions can be used with the keyboard. The focus is always visible, there is a link to skip to the content, menus close with the Escape key and tabs can be navigated with the arrow keys.
- **No dependence on JavaScript.** Links, forms and expandable sections work without it.
- **Alternative text.** Informative images have alternative text, and decorative icons are hidden from screen readers.
- **Clear structure.** Each page has a single main heading, ordered headings, labelled navigation regions, breadcrumbs and a declared language.
- **No dependence on colour.** Statuses, such as “Beta”, are written in words, and the marks in tables combine an icon and text.
- **Forms.** Each field has a visible label and states whether it is required or optional. Errors are flagged with text next to the field, and the result of submitting the form is announced to screen readers.
- **Reduced motion.** If your system asks for reduced motion, the website turns off transitions and animations. The rest of the time, motion is brief and functional.
- **Light and dark themes.** The website opens in the dark theme and you can switch to the light theme with a button; your choice is remembered in the browser. It also has styles for forced colours mode, such as Windows high contrast mode.
- **No autoplay for videos.** The video tour of the panel only plays when you ask it to, with the browser’s controls, and has no sound.
- **Readable tables.** Wide tables can be scrolled with the keyboard and have a name for screen readers.

## Known limitations

- **Video tour without audio description.** The tour shows the panel without narration or audio description. Each chapter has a title on the page, and the same screens appear as screenshots with alternative text on each feature’s page.
- **Panel screenshots.** Their alternative text describes the screen, but not all the data that appears on it.
- **Content on other websites.** External links lead to sites with their own level of accessibility.

## How to tell us about a problem

If you come across a barrier or need the information in another format, write to us at soporte@claqon.com or through the [contact](https://claqon.com/en/contact/) page. Tell us:

- the page and what you were trying to do;
- the problem you found;
- the browser and, if you use one, the assistive technology, such as a screen reader or a magnifier.

We will reply and, if we can, send you the information in an accessible format while we fix the problem.

## Date of this statement

We prepared this statement on 12 October 2026. We will review it when the website changes significantly and, in any case, when we complete the formal evaluation.
